So I've been thinking...what does it mean to truly be Googley?
It's a feeling you get - a kind of excitement.
To define it in words alone is unfair. It's a connection with others who are equally energized about their work. An eagerness team members have to listen; together we are able to produce a better solution. A thrill of sharing crazy ideas - ideas that echo because others are dreamers too.

I woke up to music (as usual) - perhaps it was a sign though because we built our own music web apps today. Using App Engine, we made live webpages where a user could log in/log out, create music playlists, and add songs. I tested it out and started by making my own Maroon5 and Eminem playlists. Very exciting!

Productivity snacks:

We found a new favorite spot for lunch called Root - organic and delicious!

Abril is mellowing her Monster with an apple juice.

Following lunch, we had mock technical interviews. We were broken into groups of three and taken into conference rooms with Google interviewers. In the rooms, the interviewers had us solve problems using our logic and coding skills. To solve the problems, our team used Python and manually wrote out the code on a white board. Based on the mock interview session, I am feeling confident for future technical interviews.

After the interview sessions ended, we went back to working with App Engine, focusing on our individual app projects.

Our group, who won the challenge last week, all wore our Google socks today! Wearing the socks all day was definitely swag-ing. To complete the awesomeness of our day, we took epic photos.
